ProSource TF
ProSource TF is a high protein, very low carbohydrate supplement that enables you to increase the protein intake of patients being enterally tube fed without increasing their carbohydrates or volume; or changing their required enteral feed.
Each 45ml sachet of ProSource TF contains 11g protein and only 1g carbohydrates making it ideal when you need to alter the ratio of protein to carbohydrates that are being delivered by their required enteral feed.
ProSource TF is further supplemented with essential amino acids to ensure it has a PDCAAS score of 100.

When to Use ProSource TF?
ProSource TF’s unique formulation combining 11g protein, only 1g carbohydrate and a ‘water like’ consistency in just 45ml of liquid make it ideal to use when you need to increase the protein intake of patients being enterally tube fed without increasing their carbohydrates or volume; or changing their required enteral feed.
Typical conditions where increased protein may be required, or where volume may be an issue include:
- In ITU / ICU
- Renal Dialysis
- Cancer Cachexia
- Liver Disease
- Pressure Ulcers
- Burns & Post surgery (e.g. for wound care)
- Elderly Malnutrition
- Post Bariatric Surgery
How to Use ProSource TF?
ProSource TF is a ready to use liquid and can be administered without the need for pre-mixing via an enteral feeding tube.
Enteral Tube Feeding – Flush feeding tube. Infuse ProSource TF via enteral feeding tube using a syringe. Once infused, flush tube and then continue enteral tube feeding as prescribed.
